Yu-San received her BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania. She conducted postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Dr. Sun Hur at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she pioneered studies on the molecular mechanisms of Aire polymerization in transcriptional regulation.
Outside the lab, Yu-San enjoys running, cooking, and watching indie movies.
Nick received his BA and MA from Wesleyan University, where he researched chromatin remodeling and metal ion homeostasis in the context of muscle cell development. He is currently interested in studying the role of epigenetic dysregulation in disease, specifically autoimmunity. Outside of the lab, he enjoys cooking (and eating), playing guitar, and birding in Prospect Park.
Adina received her BA in Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University where she studied immune system dysregulation in C9orf72-mediated ALS. She then worked as a lab tech at Weill Cornell Medicine, investigating the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegenerative mouse models. She is currently interested in molecular mechanisms of immune homeostasis and autoimmunity. Outside of the lab, Adina plays club ultimate frisbee and video games.
Jenny is a rising sophomore at Harvard College studying molecular and cellular biology. Her current research interests involve exploring immunology as well as computational biology. Outside the lab, Jenny enjoys developing and designing video games..
